Subject | st: update oparallel available from SSC |
Date | Tue, 22 Oct 2013 15:29:54 +0200 |
Thanks to Kit Baum a new update of the -oparallel- package is now available from SSC. The update fixes a error with the number of degrees of freedom when factor variables were used in the -ologit- model (thanks Richard Williams and Scott Long for pointing this out to me) and a typo in the help file (thanks Ariel Linden for spotting it). To install it, type in Stata -ssc install oparallel, replace-. -oparallel- is a post-estimation command testing the parallel regression assumption in a ordered logit model. By default it performs five tests: a likelihood ratio test, a score test, a Wald test, a Wolfe-Gould test, and a Brant test. These tests compare a ordered logit model with the fully generalized ordered logit model, which relaxes the parallel regression assumption on all explanatory variables. Optionally, oparallel can use the bootstrap to compute the p-values for these tests. I hope some of you will find it useful, Maarten --------------------------------- Maarten L.
