Hi ,
I am studying hospital charges for hospital stays ranging for years
1998 till 2010. My understanding is that the charges need to be
adjusted for inflation.
I found a user written program -cpigen- by Austin Nichols(dowmloaded
from SSC), but it supports years 1913 till 2006. It adjusts for US
dollars amount using Consumer Price Index(CPI).
My dataset goes beyond 2006 and I am looking for a progam which can
adjust for 2010 dollar value.
I would really appreciate if anyone could let me know of any macro
that could adjust for 2010 dollar value OR method to do it.
