Hi,
I know that most major versions offer some improvements and
optimizations. E.g. version 12 was proud of making -areg- orders of
magnitude faster. However, I found the release notes for Stata 13
curiously silent about speed improvements.

What is the general experience so far? I could not yet upgrade myself.
Also, the Stata/MP performance report was last updated with version
11. Are there any general lessons since?
