Thank you Richard.  I suppose that is the way to go; 
but it involves me locating all of Roger's commands & 
deciding whether I still want them, which I was rather hoping to avoid.

It looks like Roger's stuff is now here:

My own inclination would be to uninstall and then reinstall the 
programs you want, but Roger may have other advice.
