Amir, The easiest way is to purchase Stat/Transfer, http://www.stattransfer.com/ . If that's not an option, you can try to use the program that made the .dbf file to save the data in some format that Stata will read, such as comma-separated values (.csv) or tab-separated text, or you can try ODBC: http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/stata/faq/odbc.htm David -- David Radwin Senior Research Associate MPR Associates, Inc. 2150 Shattuck Ave., Suite 800 Berkeley, CA 94704 Phone: 510-849-4942 Fax: 510-849-0794 www.mprinc.com > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-statalist@hsphsun2.harvard.edu [mailto:owner- > statalist@hsphsun2.harvard.edu] On Behalf Of Amir Kasaeian > Sent: Monday, November 12, 2012 1:35 AM > To: statalist@hsphsun2.harvard.edu > Subject: st: Import dbf data files to Stata11 MP > > Dear Statalist, > > Good day! > Can anybody help me how to import dbf data files to Stata11 MP? > Many thanks for your help. > > > Best, > Amir * * For searches and help try: * http://www.stata.com/help.cgi?search * http://www.stata.com/support/faqs/resources/statalist-faq/ * http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/stata/
