Subject   st: xtmixed iterations are holding up loop

Hi Statalist,

I have a loop that runs a slightly different xtmixed command in each
iteration. For most iterations, the model runs quickly. However,
occasionally, a model will continue to run indefinitely, which stops
the loop from running. Is there a way I can have the model
automatically stop running if model estimation takes more than a
specified amount of time, so that the loop moves on to the next
iteration rather than getting stuck on one slow model?

Thanks,
Jordan
