Subject | st: new version of -mcmcstats- on SSC |
Date | Thu, 23 Aug 2012 10:13:06 -0500 |
Thanks to Kit Baum, a new version of the -mcmcstats- package is now available on SSC. To install for the first time, type -ssc install mcmcstats-. To update an existing copy, type -adoupdate mcmcstats, update-. -mcmcstats- provides two commands for analyzing results from MCMC estimation. -mcmcconverge- calculates convergence statistics for scalar estimands. -mcmcsummarize- calculates summary statistics of the marginal distribution of scalar estimands. In the new version, I have rewritten -mcmcconverge- to run faster for models with many parameters. -- Sam Schulhofer-Wohl Senior Economist Research Department Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis 90 Hennepin Ave. Minneapolis MN 55480-0291 sschulh1.work@gmail.com Views expressed herein are those of the author and not necessarily those of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis or the Federal Reserve System. * * For searches and help try: * http://www.stata.com/help.cgi?search * http://www.stata.com/support/statalist/faq * http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/stata/
