Dear Statalist,

I am trying to calculate the number of inventor dyads within firms. Accordingly, I need to drop dyad duplicates within a 4-years moving window. I already removed dyad duplicates within a year by using the minID/maxID approach proposed by Nick. I generate then moving windows with the mvsumm command to count to the total number of dyads within 4 years moving window. However, there are of course dyad duplicates within the moving window. And this mvsumm command is only possible without same year observations.

Would someone have a suggestion about how I could deal with this issue?

Best,

Solon Moreira
