Thanks as always to Kit Baum, a new version of the -wridit- package is
now available for download from SSC. In Stata, use the -ssc- command to
do this, or -adoupdate- if you already have an old version of -wridit-.
The -wridit- package is described as below on my website, and computes
weighted ridits. The new version adds an option -folded-, causing the
generated ridits to be folded ridits (equal to 2*R-1, where R is the
corresponding unfolded ridit). I have also clarified the on-line help,
and corrected the page numbers in the Bross reference there. I would
like to thank Ariel Linden of Linden Consulting for pointing out this error.
