You evidently didn't try as suggested in the FAQ
. findit radar
which would have pointed you to an implementation by Adrian Mander. See also postings by Scott Merryman e.g.

My own bias is that radar graphs are parallel coordinates transferred to a more awkward coordinate system. If you want to consider that point of view, -parplot- (SSC) is an alternative.
