Dear all

When using the new -export excel- command in Stata 12 to export values to Excel 2007, I noticed that Excel does not update existing fields using the new values (e.g. an average) until you re-enter the formula. Is there any way to fix this, besides autocalculation which is already on? Is it due to Stata exporting figures to a text field or is it Excel being stubborn (what about Excel 2010)?

Best wishes

Sem
