If I understand your question right, you would like to label your variable 'twomand' with the label 'DUMMY VARIABLE FOR FEDERAL...'. Is this what you'd like to do? If so type: label var twomand "DUMMY VARIABLE FOR FEDERAL DEPUTIES THAT APPEAR TWICE IN THE DATASET" -codebook twomand- will now show the label of twomand.
