Hello! I am new to Stata and thus have several questions. First of all I would
like to ask you how can I specify the expected value of a variable for the next
period. I know how lags are specified but I cannot find information regarding
the value of the variable for the next period, something like variable(1)?

Secondly I would like to ask you how can I import data by defining the variable
on a time set? If I have the value of income for annual data covering 1997-2009
how can I import the data in order to regress afterwards the variable on its
lags? if I do not import the data in this way I obtain the following message:
time variable not set.
Thank you very much. I look forward for your answer!
Ally
