I'm trying to download 20 million records. One issue's that odbc
command doesn't show any status. I don't know how many records are
already downloaded.

the target is MS SQL Server. it seems that odbc command is not suited
well for this sort of use. I should probably download the data
externally, then read a file from Stata.
