I am trying to make an MDS analysis in Stata 10. I am working with a
"normal" dataset (I do not use the dissimilarity matrix) and the mds
command. I have 20 political actors and 15 questions they respond to with
values from 1-5 (ordinal).
I am now trying, not only to map the actors'position in the political space
basing on the 15 questions; but I am also trying to plot the questions
(they respond to) in the mds output plot, so that interpretation becomes
easier. Unfortunately, I cannot find out how to do this. Furthermore, I did
not find any book or tutorial for mds in stata 10, maybe someone could help
me with a reference?
I would highly appreciate any help, thank you a lot.
