The Treiman book is indeed awesome, however Treiman says it's aimed at graduate students. I found that the book by Kohler and Kreuter

worked quite well when teaching undergraduate students.

I have long been intending to take a look at Donald J. Treiman (2009) "Quantitative Data Analysis: Doing Social Research to Test Ideas". Jossey-Bass.

The table of content looks really promising and I have met
him a couple of times and I like his style when it comes to
talking about statistics.
