hi,
I have just installed a copy of stata10 on my machine. Everything
works fine, but if I type

.total var1

I get the error message

.c(noisily) undefined

I have looked on old posts pointing to a syncronization error. I
updated everything:
.update all
.update swap

but the problem remains. Any suggestion on what to do? Thanks a lot in advance,
Matteo
