Subject | st: Restricting range for predictions from multiple imputation |
Date | Fri, 12 Nov 2010 12:39:14 +0000 (GMT) |
Hi listers, This question comes from a colleague who is using Stata's -ice- module to impute a continuous variable. Many imputed values are negative which are not sensible in her analysis. I was wondering if there was a way to specify a restricted range to ensure that all imputed values are positive or within a specified range. Someone mentioned that SAS does that by discarding out of range predictions and then re-imputing. I wonder if there is a way to deal with this in Stata? Thanks, Shehzad * * For searches and help try: * http://www.stata.com/help.cgi?search * http://www.stata.com/support/statalist/faq * http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/stata/
