Hi,

just a comment: the problem would be easier to spot if you used Stata
11 do-editor
with a syntax highlighter (or any external text editor that
understands Stata's syntax).
In that case the string that does not properly terminate within the
line would not be
marked as a string and this would be a clear indication of the problem.
