Dear All, I used orthogonal polynomial terms of time to test a cubic trend of y over time(five waves). The individual coefficients of the three orthogonal polynomials are significant. But to test the overall cubic trend, do i need to test H0: b1+2*b2*t+3*b3*t^2=0? If so, how i conduct this test? Thanks a lot.
