Dear Michael,

Thank you for your reply.

If I understand right, in the example that you sent me, read and write
are corelated but their effects are not estimated as such. My problem
is, say hypothetically, that we had an arrow with age pointing to math
and another similar 'age-arrow' pointing to science. I know that age has
an effect on both math and science. Age is not in the pathway under
study but has to be adjusted for.

Does one then just include another (math age) & (science age) command to
signify these relationships in the pathreg command (thereby adjusting
for age aswell)??

Thanks,

/Amal.
