Thanks to Kit Baum, a new package -ebrowse- is available on SSC.
To view the package description, type: ssc desc ebrowse
To install, type: ssc install ebrowse
-ebrowse- provides the same functionality as Stata's -browse- except
that -ebrowse- orders the variables to be displayed by the specified
variables. Currently, in Stata 11, -browse- does not order according to
these variables. However, previous versions of Stata did, hence
-ebrowse- is not necessary for these versions.
