You may want to look at the -fragment- and -page- options to -esttab- by Ben

Subject: st: Adjusting -tabout- to include top.tex and bot.tex lines
automatically?

Dear Statalisters,

I am using the excellent -tabout- to create some simple tabulation
tables for use in LaTeX.

I would like to adjust the ado-file so that the material currently
provided by top.tex and bot.tex (described in Section 5.5 of the
tabout tutorial) is generated automatically by the (modified) tabout
command.

I would also very much appreciate any advice on how to modify top.tex
and bot.tex to include \begin{table}, \caption, \label and \end{table}
so that tabout could automatically generate a table float.

Many thanks for any suggestions.
