-nlcom- tels you something about a specific set 
transformed parameters, while the mean squared residuals
is a characteristic of an entire model. So the two don't
fit together nicely. What you could do is estimate the
model with the non-linear constraint using -nl-. This will
give you the residual sum of squares.
