I have never had to ask for a full trace of one of my 
programs. When I get a bug report I usually spent quite a lot 
of time with the reporter to recreate the problem using a 
dataset that we both have access to. This has a number of 
advantages:

- Often you already find the problem during this process of
recreating the problem.

- If not, I find debugging and fixing a lot easier if I have
an example on my own computer to play with.

- Once I fixed it, I can put that example in my certification
script to make sure I won't introduce the same bug again.
