I guess that contributors appreciate thanks and that you might have meant well with your divine wish; however, it is a good idea to keep this a secular affair.

Just a conjecture on my part, an altruistic act might get "crowded-out" by reinforcement of this nature, given the very scientific focus of the members of this list.
