This seems to call for a simulation. My talk on 
-simulate- at the last Sumer North American Stata 
Users' Group meeting contains an example of such 
a simulation of -ice-, which is probably pretty 
easy to extend to include -mi impute-. I can't do
that as I don't have 11 yet. You can find that
