Maarten, Nick - Yes - -indeplist- provides the information that I would need. Thanks for the tip.
But I'm still curious how -bootstrap- does its accounting. Given the results from -indeplist- I can write my own program that will do the bookkeeping - also, Austin suggested using the variable names _b[vname] to see if the estimates exist, but I'm wondering if there is already a nice command that does this for me and creates a b-vector with missing values in the appropriate places? Now I see that Peter Lachenbruch has suggested using Scott Long's -eststo- . I'll check it out.
