I ran -adoupdate, update- just now and got the following error:
Cleaning up...could not rename c:\ado\plus\stata.trk to c:\ado\plus\backup.trk
stata(): 3598 Stata returned error
netrm(): - function returned error
rmdup(): - function returned error
find_and_uninst_1dup_std(): - function returned error
find_and_uninst_dups(): - function returned error
pkg_chk_and_update(): - function returned error
<istmt>: - function returned error
r(3598);
I've never had this problem before. Any wild guesses as to what
could be causing it? I'm running Stata 10.1 on Windows XP and
everything is up to date.
