Try

as one good source on Mata...

Subject: st: How to convert scalars, vectors, matrices created in Mata to Stata scalars or variables?

Hi all,

I have been looking for a way to convert Mata scalars, vectors and
matrices into Stata scalars or variables. I found

st_store(., st_addvar("float","max"),b)

command, however for the case of converting scalars it gives
"conformability error" when I have other variables in the Stata
memory.

My question is if there is a simple way to do that. Thanks in advance.
