Have a look at -cluster-, i.e. help cluster.

You may find this book helpful on the topic: "Computer-aided
Multivariate Analysis" by Abdelmonem A. Afifi, Virginia Clark, Susanne
May it has a lot of comparisons between Stata, and other packages
comparing commands and results.
