Martin,

-update query- is what told me that Stata had last been updated on 10/15/07.

-help whatsnew- told me that the -regex- functions have not been updated since then.

Yeah, well, that is not a foolproof method to check. You should rather
type -update query- when connected to be absolutely sure...
