Dear Stata friends
recently Shawn McBrien sent a mail to Statalist
looking for guidance in the use of -distrate- because the results
produced by the command were not equal to those obtained with a
spreadsheet.
I had the opportunity to see the data file and the do
code of Shawn McBrien.
In the data file a stratum is completely not
represented and this causes the problem in the results of Shawn.
However, -distrate- fails to do the appropriate check and then produces
an output when it should not.
Thanks to Kit Baum a new version of -
distrate- is now available on the SSC Archive where this problem has
been fixed.
