A standalone version of viewer "Lister" (which is built-in to Windows
Commander/Total Commander) is available for download here:
http://www.ghisler.com/lister/

It is freeware, supports text and binhex views, search, print, etc. It
shows large files (tried with a file >160GB) very fast using a
well-managed buffer. It doesnot load the whole file (and you rarely
need this). Supports command line parameters to use with other
applications.

I've been using "Lister" for >5 years, and very happy about it.
