Hello everyone,

I wish to find out if some points in the data are closer to the
others. I don't know how to check for this. I tried to split up the
data into 5-xtiles by the above command. It does work to some extent ,
but is there a way I can say " point's close to each other are ONE
point only ". I guess this is LESS a question on stata and more a
question on statistics / math. Any tips ?

Thank you,
Ashim.
