some more information. As Nick notes, it would be a big-deal: different weights may be needed for units at different levels.

As to why they are not implemented in -xtmelogit-, I can't say
authoritatively, but it seems that you want something like

svy : xtmelogit

and it's a fair guess that it would be a big deal even to work out some
theory for it. True or not, it's not available in Stata right now.

trying to use pweights with xtmelogit stata says "weights are not
allwoed"
