Subject   st: different results using mifit and mim procedures
Date   Wed, 20 Feb 2008 09:11:54 -0500

Dear Stata users,
I originally did an analysis on a dataset with multiple imputations using an older version of stata and used mifit. I recently upgraded to Stata 10 and am redoing the analysis using the mim procedure. I am concerned because I am getting slightly different results. Does anyone know why the results would be different and if one set of results is better to report than the other?

example: OR(95% CI) using mifit: 1.31 (1.14-1.50)
                                 using mim: 1.45 (1.13-1.84)

Many thanks,

Malinda
