Dear Ainsley,
neither -tmap- nor its successor -spmap- has an option to include the "North" symbol in the maps they create.
Best,
Maurizio

Is there a way to include a symbol and text designating 'North' in maps created by the user-written -tmap-?

I've reviewed the FAQ and archives, -search-ed and tried to -findit- 'north' and 'grid north', and read Pisati's User's Guide but, so far, have not had much luck.

I'm using Stata/SE for Windows, born 20 July 2007.
