Dear all,
the compact version of the German General Social Survey (ALLBUS) is
now available for free download as a .dta-file.
The data can be used for social research and, as they are very good
edited and documented, for teaching ( e.g. introductory courses in
Stata).
For more detailed information, see

Additional information for those, who don't know what the German
General Social Survey (ALLBUS) is:
The German General Social Survey (ALLBUS) is a biennial survey that
has been conducted since 1980 on the attitudes, behaviour, and social
structure of persons resident in Germany. A representative
cross-section of the population is questioned using face-to-face
interviews.
Best regards,
Marcel
