Thanks to Kit Baum, an update to the -fre- package is available from
SSC. -fre- displays/exports one-way frequency tables.
To install the update, type
. ssc install fre, replace
or use the -adoupdate- command.
The update introduces some minor changes and fixes bugs. For example,
-fre- now tabulates all variables in the dataset, if typed without
varlist. Furthermore, -fre- crashed if labels contained single quotes
(thanks to Daniel Stegmueller and Eric Zbinden for reporting the bug).
This is fixed.
