Thanks to the egregious Kit Baum, various
packages have been added to or revised on SSC:

-qpfit-
=======

This is a bundle of programs to produce
QQ and PP plots for data versus various
fitted distributions: Dagum, Singh-Maddala,
lognormal, generalised beta (second kind)
(some of these have other names too).

The package is a supporting act to the Stephen
Jenkins Quartet announced last Sunday:

Some additional programs for fitting distributions by maximum likelihood are now available to download from SSC (with thanks, as ever, to Kit Baum).

The distributions that can be fitted are:

Generalized Beta of the Second Kind (4 parameter): module -gb2fit-
Dagum (3 parameter): module -dagumfit-
Singh-Maddala (3 parameter): module -smfit-
Lognormal (2 parameter): module -lognfit-
-----------------------------------------------------

Stata 8 is required.

Note that other packages provide similar support
for several other distributions.

-triplot-
=========

This is for triangular plots. Stata 8 is required.

Scott Merryman found a bug and explained the fix.

-parplot-
=========

This is for parallel coordinates plots. Stata 8 is required.

Scott Merryman found a bug and explained the fix.
I added some extra references to the help.

Thanks to Scott for his exemplary bug reports.
