Hi,

If you can copy the ado folder from a system with stata8 installed it might
work. I am assuming you have a legitmate copy of stata on both systems.

Rachel,

You have to reinstall Stata 8 because you overwrote the Stata 8 files
with incompatible Stata 9 files.
