Which dataset in the GLLAMM manual do you refer to? Can you reproduce
the problem with that dataset? The trace option of glamm is described
in the GLLAMM manual on pages 20, 35-37, and 95-96. The trace option
can help, e.g., to monitor convergence.

I will try using the trace option to see if it points to any error.
