Hi Juan

basically, R is a free (GNU GPL) software very similar to S.

On http://www.r-project.org/ you can find lots of information on R, S, S+, including a detailed FAQ, lots of links and mailing lists devoted to these statistics packages.

Hope this helps you, Chris

Hi James, I have a question about R. What's the difference between R
and S-Plus?
Juan
