Thanks to Kit Baum for making -samplepps- available on SSC (for Stata
version 8 +). -samplepps- selects cases using random sampling
proportional to size (`pps'). Comments and suggestions on the
algorithms used would be welcome.

DESCRIPTION/AUTHOR(S)
samplepps draws a random sample from the current data set, with
probabilities proportional to size (`pps'). The default is to
select cases without replacement; optionally cases may be
selected with replacement.
