From Jhilbe@aol.com To statalist@hsphsun2.harvard.edu Subject Re: st: RE: Logistic Regression Mixed Models Date Mon, 25 Apr 2005 14:53:14 EDT Stata 9 may well have this capability. Mixed models is now a part of the package, among many other features. Joe Hilbe ============================= i don't know any commands in stata that will give you the estimates you want (other than -gllamm- and -xtlogit-). the HLM software package will give you PQL and Laplace estimates for multilevel logistic models. if you have HLM v. 6 installed on your machine, you can run HLM from within stata (v8+) using the -hlm- command (downloadable from SSC by typing "ssc install hlm"). i'm pretty sure MlWin will give you MCMC estimates, though i've never used it. sean.
