dear felow users,
after upgrade of computer i tried to re-install my favourite stataquest for
stata 7 (that worked at the stata 8 for me before upgrading (and "upgrading"
to windows SP2, too). but now it says
package name: quest1.pkg
from: http://www.stata.com/quest7/
checking quest1 consistency and verifying not already installed...
I/O error
could not copy http://www.stata.com/quest7/quest/d/dtldlg.hlp
(no action taken)
1. Make sure you have updated Stata 8 as well. Because of a bug in the
initial release of Stata 8, Stata has previously recommended that, for the
first update, you give the commands
