the author of -uvis-, not myself.

is not a member of Statalist.
Thanks Nick. You're right, it doesn't much matter what you or I think, it
is what Patrick Royston thinks. His -uvis- program is very
impressive. I've mailed Patrick some suggestions for minor changes that I
think would change its behavior to the way I think it should be. I think
it is just a matter of reworking one line but the program is so complicated
I'm not sure I've got it right.
