Dear listers:
I have a question related to the function of "stata update".
I am using a workstation with operation system of XP(sp2).
After I install (successfully, I believe) the Stata 8.0SE
I perform the command - update all-
However, after few mintues(10-15 mintues), I obtain an error showing that
the file I am updating is not found in the server.
I did the following check.
1. check whether there is any problem in my hardware
--> no, and in addition, it is a brand new computer.
2. check whether my stata may not be installed perfectly.
--> I uninstall it, and re-install it again.
However, I obtained the same error message again.
Does anyone know what happened?
