True. But what I would like is to have the Summary of Study Populations, the
last section of the -dstdize- output with confidence intervals for the
adjusted rates etc., as a dataset for further analyses. The -saving- option
gives me this:

agecat	pop	_stdrate
0	335507	.0624972
5	351253	.0654303
10	318443	.0593186
15	282552	.0526329
20	315966	.0588571
25	377237	.0702705
30	390899	.0728154
35	425955	.0793455
40	378117	.0704344
45	368729	.0686857
50	376257	.070088
55	379138	.0706246
60	273717	.0509871
65	223823	.041693
70	191428	.0356586
75	162751	.0303167
80	117593	.0219049
85	66398 .0123684
90	26523 .0049406
95	6068 .0011303

What I want is this:

year	male	Se	Right	Left	Adjusted	Crude	Nobs
1977	0	1.976e-06	.00001362	5.875e-06	9.748e-06

This dataset was created from the matrices saved by -dstdize- and two -egen-
commands. Am I missing something obvious?

The help for -dstdize- tells me of a -saving(filename)- option that saves
the computed standard population distribution as a Stata dataset that can
be used in further analyses.
